Nippon Flour Mills Changes Company Name
| Nippon Flour Mills Co., Ltd., one of the major flour milling companies in Japan, decided recently that they will change the company name, to Nippun Corporation. They plan to do it on April 1, 2021, which will be finally confirmed by the board of directors on September 30 this year. They say "Our company was founded in 1896, as the first modernized flour milling company in the private section. Since then, we have been doing our best to realize abundant supply of wheat flour. Also, we have started new businesses over time, such as ready-to-eat food and health care businesses. Recently, businesses other than flour milling are growing bigger and bigger, and the name of NIPPON FLOUR MILLS does not show correctly what we are doing now, which is the reason why we are changing our company name". |
